Gold Rates Today (27.08.2026) Falls Up To Rs 7,000; 24K, 22K, 18K Gold Rates At Tanishq, IBJA, Malabar, More
Gold rates today in India are under pressure due to weakness in the global bullion market on August 27, 2026. The MCX gold price slipped below Rs 1.60 lakh mark, and spot gold struggled around $4,625 per ounce. Precious metals erased earlier gains after the US PCE prices index rose above expectations to 3.7% in July 2026, which continues to remain above the Fed's target, hence bringing back fear of rate hike in September 2026. The dollar is firm as well, which further added to woes. The trajectory for gold is volatile ahead.

What To Expect In Gold & Silver Rates Ahead?
"Gold and silver held firm this week, buoyed by ongoing currency debasement concerns, as markets awaited Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's Jackson Hole address on Friday.
