As per Jateen Trivedi, VP Research Analyst - Commodity and Currency, LKP Securities, bullion posted weekly gains of around 5%, marking its strongest positive week since August after an extended period of selling pressure driven by concerns over a higher interest-rate cycle. Softer crude oil prices could ease inflationary pressures and provide further support to gold. Going ahead, US Non-Farm Payrolls and unemployment data due later today will be crucial in determining the next move, particularly with COMEX Gold hovering near $4,000.
Experts have also recommended investment in digital gold this Diwali. As per rakash Sikaria, CEO and Founder of super.money, digital gold has seen an encouraging response on super.money, with a significant spike observed on Dhanteras and the ongoing Diwali weekend. What is particularly interesting is the breadth of adoption, with customers from different parts of the country embracing digital gold and many starting with payments as low as Rs 10. This reflects how Gen Z is bringing new behaviours into a traditionally high-value category especially this time of the year.
