| Weight (grams) | 24K Gold | 22K Gold | 18K Gold |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 gram | ₹13,937 (+₹49) | ₹12,775 (+₹45) | ₹10,453 (+₹37) |
| 8 grams | ₹1,11,496 (+₹392) | ₹1,02,200 (+₹360) | ₹83,624 (+₹296) |

| 100 grams | ₹13,93,700 (+₹4,900) | ₹12,77,500 (+₹4,500) | ₹10,45,300 (+₹3,700) |
The performance comes after the major October monthly crash. Last month, the 24-carat gold price had crashed by a whopping Rs 103,600 in 100 grams and dropped by Rs 10,360 in 10 grams. Overall, the decline across the carats stood at 7%.
"Gold and silver are recovering in Asian trading on November 2 as lower oil prices ease inflation concerns. Spot gold rose 0.6 per cent to $3,899.39 an ounce. Silver gained 1.3 per cent to $49.76. Brent's 2 per cent decline to $111.15 a barrel offers some relief from the energy-price pressures that have complicated the interest-rate outlook," said Vikram Subburaj, CEO, Giottus.com.
He added that the rebound follows Friday's 3.7 per cent fall in gold and a nearly 6 per cent decline in silver. Investors have also been selling bullion to cover losses in technology stocks. That pressure helps explain why gold fell sharply despite the uncertainty that would ordinarily support demand for it.

Gold Rates Outlook
According to the Subburaj, the November 6 US employment report will provide the next important test. Reuters reports a consensus forecast of 65,000 additional jobs. Stronger wage growth could reinforce expectations of higher rates and put renewed pressure on bullion. For investors, Friday's nearly 6 per cent silver decline is a useful guide to the volatility their positions must withstand. Keep fresh futures positions small ahead of November 6. At an illustrative 10 times leverage, a 1 per cent adverse price move consumes approximately 10 per cent of the initial margin before fees.
MCX Gold Price + Spot Gold Price Outlook
In the early trade of Monday, MCX gold price gained marginally by Rs 319 or 0.23% to trade around Rs 1,38,804 per 10 grams. The bullion has touched an intraday high of Rs 1,39,098 per 10 grams.
Meanwhile, at present, spot gold is near its one-year low towards $3,900 per ounce. The bullion has plunged by 6% on a month-on-month basis and down by 2.4% on a year-on-year basis.
For MCX Gold, Ponmudi R, CEO of Enrich Money, said, MCX Gold is posting more modest gains than MCX Silver, which is seeing a sharper rebound from deeply oversold levels. A firmer rupee is also limiting the upside in domestic gold prices. The near-term bias remains cautious, with a sustained move above Rs 1,40,000- Rs 1,41,000 needed to stabilise the price structure. Conversely, a decisive break below ₹1,37,500-₹1,38,300 could trigger a further decline towards Rs 1,34,000- Rs 1,35,000.
In case of spot gold, Ponmudi said, gold has fallen to its lowest level in 12 months, as a technology-led equity market rout triggered the liquidation of liquid assets, including bullion, while rising oil prices reinforced expectations of a December Federal Reserve rate hike. The metal declined more than 7% in October, marking its second consecutive monthly loss. The near-term bias remains cautious, with a sustained recovery above $3,970-$4,000 needed to stabilise the technical outlook. Conversely, a decisive break below $3,900 could expose gold to a further decline towards $3,800.
