Gold, Silver Prices Today, Nov 21: Yellow Metal Appreciates, Silver Soars Too

Prices of gold, silver in India witnessed an upward rally today. Current price of 22 carat of 10 grams yellow metal is Rs 56,850 after the gain of Rs 350 on Tuesday. Meanwhile, price of 24 carat of 10 grams gold in India is Rs 62,020 after the gain of Rs 380 today. Price of 22 carat of 100 grams yellow metal in India is Rs 5,68,500 in the country after the surge of 3500. Cost of 24 carat of 100 grams gold is Rs 6,20, 000 after the surge of Rs 3800 today.

Gold prices rose to their highest levels in more than two weeks on Tuesday, aided by a weaker US dollar and lower Treasury yields as investors look forward to minutes from the Federal Reserve's latest meeting for cues on its interest rate outlook, according to news agency Reuters.

As per the latest metal report, spot gold was up 0.7% at $1,991.37 per ounce, as of 0713 GMT. US gold futures soared 0.7% to $1,993.50.

Spot gold may revisit its October 27 high of $2,009.29 per ounce, as it has pierced above a resistance at $1,991, according to Reuters technical analyst Wang Tao.
