Google Appoints Mitul Shah to Lead Pixel Devices and Services Business in India

Google has appointed Mitul Shah, previously the head of consumer sales at Apple India, to lead its Pixel smartphone and services division in the country. Shah will serve as the Managing Director for Google Devices and Services in India. This announcement was made through a social media post.

Shah expressed his enthusiasm about his new role on LinkedIn, stating, "I am happy to share that I've started an exciting new journey with Google as Managing Director for Devices & Services Business - leading Pixels sales and expansion efforts in India." His responsibilities will include overseeing the sales and growth of Pixel smartphones in India.

Google's Manufacturing Partnerships

To boost local production, Google has collaborated with Foxconn and Dixon for manufacturing Pixel smartphones in India. This move aligns with the company's strategy to enhance its presence in the Indian market by leveraging local manufacturing capabilities.
