Google has officially offered the first look at its next-generation foldable smartphone, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold, revealing subtle design refinements ahead of its global debut. The upcoming premium foldable largely retains the familiar book-style form factor but introduces a refreshed rear camera layout and is expected to arrive with Google's latest Gemini-powered artificial intelligence features.

The Pixel 11 Pro Fold will be unveiled alongside the Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro as part of Google's next-generation smartphone lineup. The devices are scheduled to launch on August 12, with pre-orders in India opening the same day through Flipkart.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Specifications (Expected)

Although Google is yet to officially confirm the hardware specifications, the Pixel 11 Pro Fold is widely expected to feature an 8-inch foldable OLED inner display paired with a 6.4-inch OLED cover screen.

The device is also tipped to be powered by Google's new Tensor G6 processor, alongside the Titan M3 security coprocessor. It is expected to offer up to 16GB RAM and as much as 1TB of internal storage, making it one of Google's most powerful smartphones to date.

On the imaging front, the foldable is expected to house a triple rear camera setup, comprising a 48-megapixel primary sensor, a 10.5-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 10.8-megapixel periscope telephoto lens. For selfies and video calls, the handset is likely to include 10-megapixel front-facing cameras on both the cover display and the main foldable screen.

Google Pixel 11 Pro Fold Gets Refined Camera Design

Google's latest teaser confirms that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will continue with its signature square-shaped rear camera island, but the layout has been subtly redesigned. Instead of the previous arrangement, the camera housing now features two larger pill-shaped sections for the camera lenses, giving the module a cleaner and more premium appearance.

The teaser also shows Google's branding positioned centrally on the rear panel, while the power button and volume keys remain on the right edge. A speaker grille and microphone are visible along the top frame. The foldable has also been showcased in a fresh green colour option.

Interestingly, the rumoured Pixel Glow lighting feature, which is expected to debut on the standard Pixel 11 and Pixel 11 Pro models, does not appear to be part of the foldable version.

Gemini AI Features to Power the Foldable Experience

Google has confirmed that the Pixel 11 Pro Fold will arrive with a range of Gemini AI-powered features, further strengthening the company's focus on artificial intelligence across its smartphone portfolio.

While the company has not yet detailed the complete AI feature set, the foldable is expected to integrate several productivity, creativity and on-device intelligence tools built around the latest version of Gemini.
