Devotees from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and other areas of the country have come to attend the grand Ram Navami festival at Bhadrachalam to witness the celestial wedding of Rama and consort Sita today, which has been carefully organised by the local administration, endowments department, and law enforcement agencies.

The Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) has supported this movement by providing a number of special bus services from various parts of the state to Bhadrachalam.

This year, a large number of devotees have been expected, prompting police to implement stringent security precautions. To provide the basic needs to the attendees, arrangements have been made to prepare two lakh "Laddu prasadam" for distribution. Furthermore, roughly 60 centres have been built to oversee the distribution of "talambralu" among believers.

With 32,000 employees engaged to ensure seamless operations, the district administration is keeping a careful eye on the 24 sectors of Mithila Stadium, the site of the Seetharama Kalyanam. Six parking lots have been set aside for the event.

District Collector Jitesh V. Patil has stated that plans are underway to supply drinking water at 200 spots across the town. More than 150 paramedical personnel and 35 physicians will be stationed in the temple town to guarantee that medical aid is easily accessible. He has given the order for everyone in charge of overseeing the event to report by Sunday morning at six o'clock.

The "Edurukolu Utsavam" is a sacred tradition celebrated on the evening before the divine wedding of Lord Rama and Goddess Seetha. This ritual takes place on the temple grounds and is an integral part of the Ram Navami celebrations. During the Edurukolu Utsavam, a ceremonial introduction and interaction between Lord Rama and Goddess Seetha are performed, symbolizing their divine union.

The purpose of this tradition is to create an atmosphere of spiritual preparation and reverence leading up to the celestial wedding. It is believed to showcase the divine love and harmony between Lord Rama and Goddess Seetha, which culminates in their marriage the following day. Devotees gather to witness this sacred moment, which is considered a key event before the grand wedding celebration, adding to the religious and cultural significance of the festival.
