GTI Capital Group Sells 4.7% Stake in Samhi Hotels for Rs 193 Crore
On Friday, GTI Capital Group divested a 4.7% stake in Samhi Hotels for Rs 193 crore through open market transactions. GTI Capital Alpha, an affiliate of the Mauritius-based GTI Capital Group, executed the sale via separate block deals on the BSE.

Stake Sale Details
According to available data, GTI Capital Alpha sold 1,03,36,865 shares of Samhi Hotels, representing a 4.7% stake. The shares were sold at an average price of Rs 187.1 each, resulting in a transaction value of Rs 193.40 crore.
Following this sale, GTI Capital Group's shareholding in Samhi Hotels decreased from 6.24% to 1.5%. Buyers included ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, Tata MF, JM Financial MF, Quest Investment Advisors, Subhkam Ventures I, Morgan Stanley, and Abu Dhabi Investment Authority.
Market Reaction
Shares of Samhi Hotels increased by 1.22%, closing at Rs 191.05 per share on the BSE. The company operates under long-term management contracts with global hotel operators like Marriott, Hyatt, and IHG.
Separate Transaction on NSE
In another block deal on the NSE, private equity firm TPG sold 20 lakh shares of Solara Active Pharma Sciences for Rs 99 crore through an open market transaction. TPG Growth IV SF Pte, a US-based TPG arm, offloaded these shares at an average price of Rs 495 each on the NSE.
Mumbai-based NBFC company Authum Investment & Infrastructure acquired these shares at the same price. On Friday, shares of Solara Active Pharma Sciences surged by 9.99%, closing at Rs 544.90 per share on the NSE.
The transactions reflect significant movements in both companies' stock prices and ownership structures.
