Officials were instructed to treat these projects as priority items. The state wants fewer disruptions for both domestic and industrial consumers.
Haryana power supply plan includes Faridabad industries and billing complaints

Haryana solar energy push to expand PM-KUSUM and rural schemes
Nayab Singh Saini asked officials to prepare a plan for solar panels on farm boundary areas. The proposal was under the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha evam Utthaan Mahabhiyan PM-KUSUM. Nayab Singh Saini said it would support solar power adoption. Nayab Singh Saini added it could give farmers extra income.
Nayab Singh Saini said a pilot would select one village per district as a smart village. The village would have low transmission and distribution losses. It would also have 100 per cent electricity bill payment. Nayab Singh Saini said similar steps should be taken in towns too. The aim was higher solar generation.
Nayab Singh Saini asked for a solar energy-based scheme for rural electricity consumers. The purpose was to bring electricity bills down to zero. The scheme was to include solar plants of at least 2 kW at homes. It would enable a subsidy benefit of Rs 78,000 for eligible consumers.
Nayab Singh Saini also referred to plans for 350 units for rural users through solar generation. During the meeting, officers said solar power plants were being installed on government buildings. These included bus stands, schools, medical institutions, educational institutions and mini-secretariats. The work is part of wider state solar planning.
Haryana solar energy projects include school rooftops and smart meters
Nayab Singh Saini told officials to install solar power plants on all 248 proposed new school buildings. Nayab Singh Saini also asked for efforts to ensure solar installations in all schools.
