On Monday, HCL Technologies announced a one-time special bonus for its employees around the world, as it crosses the $10 billion revenue mark.
The special bonus, which will be equivalent of ten days' salary, will be paid to employees with one year or greater years of service, in February 2021 and will amount to approximately $90 million (around Rs 650 crore).

The $10B revenue milestone is a testament of our remarkable resilience as an organization and the entrepreneurial spirit of our 159,000+ employees. With this gesture, we want to sincerely express our gratitude to our employees and their families for all their support," said Apparao VV, chief human resources officer, HCL Technologies.
As of 31 December 2020, HCL's full-time employee headcount stood at 159,682. HCL Tech's revenue had crossed $10 billion milestone in the calendar year 2020, a 3.6% growth year-on-year in constant currency.
Achieving this historic milestone- just twenty years since HCL Technologies' IPO - is a testament to the passionate efforts and consistent achievements of its employees, HCL Tech said in a statement.
Shares of HCL Technologies pared gains made in the morning session on Monday to slip to an intraday low of Rs 942.35 on NSE.
