The financial results for the quarter and year ending March 31, 2025, have been released by HDFC Asset Management Company (AMC). On Thursday, HDFC AMC revealed a fourth-quarter consolidated net profit of Rs 639 crore, increasing 18% from Rs 541 crore in the same period the previous year. Compared to Rs 695 crore in the same quarter of the previous year, revenue from operations in the reporting period climbed 30% year on year (YoY) to Rs 901 crore. In the quarter that ended in March 2025, the company's total expenses climbed by 11% year over year to Rs 189.6 crore, up from Rs 171 crore in Q4FY24.

The Board of Directors "Recommended a final Dividend of Rs. 90/- per equity share of Rs. 5/- each of the Company, for the financial year ended March 31, 2025, subject to approval of the shareholders at the ensuing Annual General Meeting. The final dividend, if approved by the shareholders, will be dispatched/ remitted within the applicable regulatory timelines after the Annual General Meeting," said HDFC AMC in a stock exchange filing on Thursday.
The Employees Stock Options and Performance-linked Stock Units Scheme-2025 (ESOP & PSU Scheme-2025) was implemented in accordance with the Nomination and Remuneration Committee's recommendations. The company's shareholders have to authorize the ESOP & PSU Scheme-2025, and the company will get any further legislative or regulatory approvals that may be required.
The Board "Approved cancellation of 8,73,719 Options available for issuance as on April 17, 2025 under the Employees Stock Option Scheme - 2020 ("ESOS 2020/the earlier Scheme") of the Company with effect from April 17, 2025. Accordingly, no fresh grant shall be made under ESOS 2020, and that the earlier Scheme shall remain operational till such time the Options granted earlier are either exercised, lapsed or forfeited as the case may be," HDFC AMC informed stock exchanges on Thursday.
The company's profit before taxes (PBT) was Rs 8,352 million, up 23% YoY, while its operating profit was Rs 7,115 million, up 36% YoY. The firm recorded a net profit of Rs 24,609 million, up 26% YoY, and net sales of Rs 34,980 million, up 35% YoY, for the full year ended March 31, 2025 (FY25).
According to HDFC AMC, the company has 280 offices, 95k+ partners, 98% pin-code coverage, 10.98 million SIPs processed as of March 2025, Rs 36.5 billion, 23.3 million live accounts, and 13.2 million unique investors. On Thursday, the shares of HDFC Asset Management Company ended 1.69% higher on the NSE at Rs 4,200 per share with a market cap of Rs 90.13KCr.
