HDFC Bank Customers Face Issue With Mobile/Net Banking

On Tuesday, HDFC Bank said some of its customers are having a hard time in accessing its digital banking channels and the bank is looking to fix the matter. In a tweet the bank said, "Some customers are facing intermittent issues accessing our NetBanking/MobileBanking App. We are looking into it on priority for resolution. We apologize for the inconvenience and request you to try again after some time. Thank you".

After the bank saw several outages in its different digital banking platforms over the last two years, the bank was barred by the RBI from making any launches under its Digital 2.0 drive. Also the bank was directed to stop sourcing new credit card customers.

Then as reported by an online business daily, the bank said it submitted an elaborative plan for resolving the glitches. The short-term plan is aimed at fixing the technical issues that led to a recent multiple outages on HDFC Bank's digital banking channels, the report said.

Last year, SBI's Yono platform also witnessed prolonged glitches but the problem was fixed subsequently.
