HDFC Bank Introduces New Lounge Access Rules For Tata Neu Infinity And Plus Cardholders

Starting from June 10, 2025, HDFC Bank is altering its lounge access rules for Tata Neu Infinity and Plus credit card owners. This modification means that accessing domestic lounges will require cardholders to reach a spending milestone of Rs 50,000 every quarter to receive lounge vouchers. This change is designed to reward frequent spenders and boost card usage.

For Tata Neu Infinity HDFC Bank Credit Card holders, the new policy allows them to obtain up to two complimentary domestic lounge vouchers each quarter, provided they meet the spending threshold. This equates to a potential total of eight vouchers annually. It's crucial for cardholders to be aware of this update to take full advantage of the lounge access benefits.

Regarding the Tata Neu Plus HDFC Bank Credit Card, users will be eligible for one complimentary domestic lounge voucher per quarter after spending Rs 50,000 or more. This means they can enjoy a maximum of four lounge visits in a year. This system encourages cardholders to use their cards more frequently to qualify for these perks.

Cardholders will be notified via SMS and email once they have met the criteria for lounge access. To redeem their voucher, they must visit the link provided in the notification, log in with their bank-registered mobile number, and claim their voucher within 120 days. The voucher can then be used at eligible lounges within 180 days of issuance.

To check if you've reached the spending requirement for lounge access, log in to HDFC Bank's NetBanking or MobileBanking App from June 10, 2025. Navigate to the credit card section, select your Tata Neu HDFC Bank Credit Card, and click on Redeem Reward Points. This will direct you to the Rewards Portal, where you can view your spending and qualification status under MyReward > Spend Promo Details.

It's important to note that if your card is upgraded, lost, or reissued, only spending on the new card will count towards the qualification for lounge access. Expenditures made on the previous card will not be considered. Until June 9, 2025, existing benefits will remain in place. Tata Neu Infinity cardholders can access domestic lounges eight times a year, with a nominal fee of Rs 2 charged per entry. Tata Neu Plus cardholders are entitled to four domestic lounge visits annually, with the same fee applied.

For international lounge access, Tata Neu Infinity VISA cardholders must request a Priority Pass starting June 1, 2025. With this pass, they and an add-on member can enjoy four complimentary visits a year. Any additional visits will incur a charge of US $27 + GST per person, with guest visits also charged at the same rate. RuPay cardholders will continue to receive four complimentary international lounge accesses per year, with a transaction fee of $3.25 that will be reversed later.

Additional lounge visits might be permitted based on the lounge's discretion and could lead to extra charges. This revision in the HDFC Bank lounge access policy marks a significant change for Tata Neu Infinity and Plus credit card users, emphasizing the value of achieving spending milestones for lounge access benefits.
