HDFC Bank's Q4 Profit Logs 23% YoY Gains
The country's leading lender has posted a significant rise in standalone profit for the quarter of 23% at Rs. 10055.2 crore in comparison to Rs 8186.51 crore a year ago.

Also, NII at the lender increased 10.2 percent to Rs 18,872.7 crore, from Rs 17,120 crore during the same period. The bank also logged a 16.8% rise in deposits at Rs. 15.59 trillion as of March 2022. Also, its advances recorded 20.9 percent year on year rise to Rs. 13.69 trillion in the review period.
The share of CASA deposits stood at Rs 7.51 lakh crore as of March 2022, a growth of around 22 percent YoY, while the ratio of CASA deposits increased to 48 percent in the March 2022 quarter, compared to 46.1 percent in the corresponding period last fiscal, the bank said.
Last the shares of HDFC Bank during the trading session on April 13, 2022 closed at a price of Rs. 1464.95 per share.
