The India Meteorological Department issued its latest 7-day sub-division-wise weather warning on June 16, covering all three major sub-divisions of Karnataka Coastal Karnataka, North Interior Karnataka, and South Interior Karnataka.
Coastal Karnataka, which includes major districts like Mangalore, Udupi, and Uttara Kannada, is under active thunderstorm, lightning, and squall warnings from June 16 to June 19
North Interior Karnataka, covering districts such as Belagavi, Dharwad, Gadag, Haveri, Davanagere, Ballari, Vijayapura, Bagalkote, Raichur, Koppal, Yadgir, and Bidar, is also under the same thunderstorm, lightning, and squall warnings from June 16 through June 19.
South Interior Karnataka, which covers Bengaluru, Mysuru, Tumakuru, Kolar, Chikkaballapur, Ramanagara, Hassan, Kodagu, Mandya, Chamarajanagara, Shivamogga, and Chikkamagaluru, mirrors the same warning pattern.
