OneOTT Intertainment Ltd. (OIL), a subsidiary of Hinduja Global Solutions Limited, on Monday unveiled its latest innovation, OneX. This groundbreaking network-as-a-service solution encompasses network management, security, and LAN-side control, ushering in a new era of connectivity for businesses.
CELERITYX has partnered with the Maharashtra State Cooperative Credit Societies Federation (MAFCOCS), a leading credit society federation, to deploy OneX across 40,000 bank branches in Maharashtra. This partnership aims to address the connectivity challenges faced by cooperative credit societies, particularly in Tier 2 and Tier 3 cities, where outdated systems often fail to provide adequate security against modern threats.

OneX represents a paradigm shift in simplifying complexity while ensuring agility and security. By leveraging multiple WAN technologies, including mobile SIM, the solution guarantees high uptime and zero trust-based networks, bolstering security across all locations. This is a significant advancement in an era where cybersecurity threats loom large over the banking sector.
Cooperative credit societies in Maharashtra affiliated with MAFCOCS stand to benefit immensely from this alliance. By harnessing broadband and mobile SIM technologies alongside firewalls and zero-radius perimeter security solutions, these societies can streamline connectivity while fortifying security and uptime. Importantly, the cost-effective structure of OneX ensures accessibility for even the smallest credit societies, safeguarding them against cyberattacks on their network infrastructure.
The inaugural order for OneX has already been received from Samta Sahakari Patasanstha for its branches in Maharashtra, signaling a promising start to this transformative venture.
Conversations with numerous other credit societies are underway, indicating a growing interest in adopting this robust security solution.
"Maharashtra has over 16,000 credit societies. These credit societies are increasingly becoming significant in their size and impact compared to cooperative and national banks. Many of them, in fact, have stronger assets under management (AUM) and financials than larger banks. This growth in assets also brings the responsibility of ensuring technology modernization for these credit societies to serve their customers better," Om Prakash Dadaapa, President of MAFCOCS, said in a statement.
"OneX addresses these challenges seamlessly, providing a unified threat management solution including network, firewall, and endpoint security to all credit societies. Samata Sahakari Patasanstha has already taken a pioneering step by implementing OneX across its branches in Maharashtra," Prakash added.
"With OneX, we are democratising banking connectivity for cooperative credit societies. This partnership with MAFCOCS is a major step towards promoting financial inclusion and driving growth in the rural sector, and we have our sights set on expanding into other states facing similar challenges." Sameer Kanse, Chief Business Officer of CELERITYX, added.
Notably, OneX proudly carries the 'Make in India' certification, underscoring its commitment to local innovation and development. With its robust infrastructure and efficient utilisation capabilities, OneX is poised to revolutionise connectivity solutions and redefine the standards of network security in India's banking sector.
CELERITYX's launch of OneX marks a significant milestone in the realm of network-as-a-service solutions. Through strategic partnerships and innovative technology, CELERITYX is poised to reshape the landscape of banking connectivity, driving towards a future of enhanced security, accessibility, and efficiency.
