Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd has partnered with the Government of Tamil Nadu to skill 5,000 individuals under the Naan Mudhalvan scheme. The company will provide sales and marketing training through online and offline sessions.
In a significant move towards enhancing skill development and employability, Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd (HCCB) has entered into a strategic partnership with the Government of Tamil Nadu. The collaboration is aimed at skilling 5,000 individuals under the government's Naan Mudhalvan scheme.

The initiative is being implemented in association with the Tamil Nadu Skill Development Corporation, a state-owned entity dedicated to improving vocational skills among youth. This joint venture primarily focuses on training young aspirants in sales and marketing verticals. HCCB will act as the principal point of contact for this endeavor.
Role of Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages
Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages will undertake several responsibilities as part of this alliance. Besides providing orientation and program materials, it would conduct both online and offline training sessions for participants. A company statement released recently outlined these roles.
But perhaps one of its most crucial contributions would be facilitating interactions between learners and industry leaders. It aims to connect trainees with local industries, thus enabling them to grasp practical insights from real-world business scenarios. Moreover, it plans to provide entrepreneurial opportunities at no cost to these aspiring individuals.
A Commitment Towards Upskilling Youth
Tamil Nadu holds sentimental value for HCCB as it houses one of their oldest factories. Over the years, they have taken immense pride in contributing towards its growth through various initiatives.
"Now we are elated to play a role in upskilling its vibrant youth," said Himanshu Priyadarshi, Chief Public Affairs Officer – Communications & Sustainability at HCCB during his announcement about this partnership.
He further added that they remain committed to partnering with the state government in ensuring that young minds are well-equipped and primed to excel in the dynamic realm of sales and marketing. This initiative signifies HCCB's commitment towards empowering youth by providing them with the necessary skills to succeed in a competitive business environment.
Conclusion
This partnership between Hindustan Coca-Cola Beverages Pvt Ltd and the Government of Tamil Nadu is not just about skill development; it is about creating opportunities for young people to thrive in their careers. It is about equipping them with the tools they need to navigate an ever-evolving professional landscape successfully. And most importantly, it is about fostering an ecosystem that values continuous learning, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
