Money control in its reports stated that standard rooms are averaging Rs 15,000-Rs 18,000 per night, while luxury rooms are priced upwards of Rs 30,000 per night . Bookings are doubled and occupancy is also on the rise say many hotel owners as compared to last week.

International destinations are also seeing an increase in bookings. Many couples are opting for 4-5 day stays, making the most of their romantic escapes despite the prices surging to up to 2-3 lakh.
