How Can You Submit Life Certificate From Home To Get Pension Uninterruptedly

How to get a life certificate?

You must keep your Aadhaar Card, current mobile number, type of pension, sanctioning authority, PPO number, the account number for your pension ready before the agent or postman comes to generate the digital life certificate. Your Aadhaar Card number should be registered with the pension disbursing agency, that is the bank or the post office, etc.

The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare stated that the pensioners can submit the life certificates "by using the Doorstep Banking Alliance of 12 public sector banks or the Doorstep Service of the postal department for submission of digital life certificate."

Procedure 1

The Doorstep Banking Alliance is an alliance between the 12 public sector banks; they will provide their services at the doorstep of the customer. The 12 public sector Indian banks in the alliance are the State Bank of India (SBI), Punjab National Bank (PNB), Bank of Baroda, Bank of India, Canara Bank, Bank of Maharashtra, Central Bank of India, Indian Bank, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab & Sind Bank, UCO Bank and Union Bank of India. You can book the bank's doorstep service via the website (doorstepbanks.com or www.dsb.imfast.co.in/doorstep/login), or 'Doorstep Banking' mobile application, or by calling on toll-free number (18001213721 or 18001037188). An agent will visit your house on the date and time as per the appointment and collect an online life certificate using the Jeevan Pramaan App. However, the bank may take some charges for this service, although it is not mentioned on the website. SBI takes Rs. 75 plus GST for their financial and non-financial services.

Procedure 2

Along with this option, you can also book the same service via postman, by downloading the 'Postinfo' App', or by the website (http://ccc.cept.gov.in/covid/request.aspx). The Department of Pension and Pensioners' Welfare (DoPPW) roped in the India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) to provide the doorstep facility to pensioners for submitting their life certificates digitally. No doorstep charge will be levied in that case.

After the successful submission of your life certificate, your Pramaan ID will be generated, which will be shared with the pensioner by National Informatics Centre (NIC) instantly. This Pramaan ID will help you to get the digital life certificate of this year, from the website - https://jeevanpramaan.gov.in/ppouser/login. To get the certificate from this website, you must keep your mobile number or email ID available with you, because an OTP will be generated there before you can download the PDF file of your life certificate. To generate the digital life certificate, you will be charged Rs. 70 each time.
