How To Check PNR Status Of Your Train Ticket On WhatsApp?

Passengers of the Indian Railways can now get real-time PNR (Passenger Name Reservation) status of their tickets booked on IRCTC over WhatsApp.

Mumbai-based startup Railofy has enabled such a feature that will help passengers consume less time and allow them to search for the PNR status and other train journey details faster.

Besides PNR status, passengers can also get live train status, previous and next railway stations and details of their other train journeys over WhatsApp. At present, customers have to dial the railway helpline number 139 to get live train status passengers.

How to check PNR status/real-time train journey details on WhatsApp?

1. Make sure you have the latest version of WhatsApp. Update the app from Play Store for Android or App Store for iOS depending on your phone.
2. Save Railofy's train enquiry number '[phone]' in your contacts.
3. Open WhatsApp and find Railofy in your contact list. Open the chat and send your 10-digit PNR number in the message window. Your PNR number will be printed on your train ticket if booked from physical ticket counters or sent to you via email and SMS if IRCTC booking was made online.
4. You will receive updates about your train journey and status over the WhatsApp chat with Railofy.
