Himachal Pradesh Government Announces Recruitment Drive for 300 Delivery Riders in UAE

The Himachal Pradesh State Electronics Development Corporation (HPSEDC) is launching a recruitment drive for 300 delivery riders in the UAE. This initiative, set for the first week of next month, aims to provide overseas job opportunities for the youth of Himachal Pradesh. Interested candidates can apply through a Google Form link provided by the state government.

Recruitment Details and Eligibility

The recruitment is a joint effort between HPSEDC, the Department of Labour & Employment, and a recruitment agency registered with the Union Ministry of External Affairs (MEA). Selected candidates will earn AED 2500 monthly, plus commission and tips, totalling approximately Rs 70,000 to Rs 1,00,000. Applicants must have completed their 10th grade, be aged 20 to 37 years, possess basic English skills, and hold a valid driving licence for gear motorcycles.

Candidates must meet specific physical criteria: no deformities on the face or neck and no colour blindness. A UAE driving licence will be issued post-deployment at a cost of AED 5,500. Those without a valid passport cannot participate in this recruitment process.

Additional Costs and Contact Information

Selected candidates are required to pay Rs 35,400 as approved by the MEA and an additional medical fee of Rs 1,500. For more information regarding the venue and schedule, candidates should contact their local Labour & Employment office or visit the HPSEDC website.
