Huge Jump in Gold Rate Today Amid Baisakhi 2026; 24K Hits Above Rs 1.53 Lakh, Silver Prices Stable in Delhi

Domestic gold rates rebounded on the second day of the week, after witnessing a marginal decline in the previous session. The recovery comes amid festive demand on the occasion of Puthandu, Pohela Boishakh, Baisakhi and Vishu 2026 on 14 April, 2026. As per the latest rates, 24K gold rose by Rs 147 to Rs 15,393 per gram, while 22K gold increased by Rs 135 to Rs 14,110 per gram.

Meanwhile, silver prices in Delhi remained steady on Tuesday, with rates holding at Rs 255 per gram and Rs 2,55,000 per kilogram.

24 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi

In New Delhi on April 14, 2026, the price of 24 Karat (24K) gold increased by Rs 147 to Rs 15,393 per gram, compared to Rs 15,246 recorded a day earlier on April 13, 2026. For larger quantities, 8 grams of 24K gold climbed to Rs 1,23,144 from Rs 1,21,968, marking a rise of Rs 1,176.

Similarly, 10 grams rose to Rs 1,53,930 from Rs 1,52,460, up by Rs 1,470, while 100 grams jumped by Rs 14,700 to Rs 15,39,300 from Rs 15,24,600.

22 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi

The upward trend was also visible in 22 Karat (22K) gold prices in New Delhi on April 14, 2026. The rate per gram increased by Rs 135 to Rs 14,110 from Rs 13,975 in the previous session. On a bulk level, 8 grams of 22K gold rose to Rs 1,12,880 from Rs 1,11,800, up by Rs 1,080. Meanwhile, 10 grams gained Rs 1,350 to reach Rs 1,41,100, compared to Rs 1,39,750 on April 13. For 100 grams, prices surged by Rs 13,500 to Rs 14,11,000.

18 Karat Gold Rate Today in Delhi

In the lower purity segment, 18 Karat (18K) gold prices in New Delhi on April 14, 2026 also moved higher. The per gram rate rose by Rs 111 to Rs 11,545 from Rs 11,434. For 8 grams, prices increased by Rs 888 to Rs 92,360, while 10 grams went up by Rs 1,110 to Rs 1,15,450. On a larger scale, 100 grams of 18K gold advanced by Rs 11,100 to Rs 11,54,500 compared to the previous day.

Silver prices in New Delhi remained flat on April 14, 2026, showing no change compared to the previous session. The rate stood steady at Rs 255 per gram, the same as on April 13, 2026, while 8 grams and 10 grams were priced at Rs 2,040 and Rs 2,550 respectively. On a larger scale, silver continued to trade at Rs 25,500 per 100 grams and Rs 2,55,000 per kilogram.
