Hurun Global Rich List 2025: Mukesh Ambani Falls Out of Top 10 Richest People: What's Reason?

Mukesh Ambani, the Chairman of Reliance Industries, has fallen out of the top ten richest persons in the world, according to the Hurun Global Rich List 2025. Due to an increase in Reliance's debt, his net worth of Rs.1 lakh crore has decreased, causing him to fall out of the world's top 10 wealthiest list.

The stock of Reliance Industries Ltd. (RIL) has dropped more than 20% since its peak in July 2024. According to a Bloomberg study, Reliance's stock underperformed the Indian equity markets, declining 1.5% while the Nifty 50 Index gained 14% in 2024. This discrepancy has caused the gap between analysts' price estimates and the stock's current valuation to widen more than four years ago.
