On Tuesday, the private sector lender launched 'ICICIStack', an all-inclusive mix of APIs or application programme interface and online banking services. The move is to help the banks' customers amid coronavirus scare as they will have access to all banking services just by staying indoors (via online route).
ICICIStack provides close to some 500 services that includes digital account opening, loan, solution to payment as well as investment, insurance as well as care solutions. The lender clears that as part of the offering some of the services that earlier had manual intervention are now rendered end to end digitized.
"Many of the services are first-in-the-industry and are available instantly on the bank's mobile phone or internet banking platform," the lender said.
So, without having the need to visit the branch customers including retail, merchants, professionals, fintechs, e-commerce players, corporates will avail several services under the accounts stack, payments stack, loans stack, investment stack and care stack digitally.

'ICICIStack' is the result of an evolving and pioneering journey to build digital solutions and large capacity to fulfil the vision of Digital India. In the wake of the Coronavirus outbreak over the past few weeks, we have added a few new features and services to offer a bouquet of solutions to our customers so that they can experience the banking services uninterrupted", said Anup Bagchi, ICICI Bank Executive Director.
