ICICI Bank's RuPay Credit Card Now Integrated With UPI Payments; Know How To Link On iMobile Pay App

ICICI Bank, the private sector lender announced on Friday that it has integrated its RuPay Credit Cards with Unified Payments Interface (UPI) transactions. According to the Bank website, ICICI Bank Credit Card holders can now link their RuPay Credit Cards to UPI to carry out Peer-to-Merchant (P2M) transactions.

ICICI Bank Credit Card holders can now pay through UPI on Credit Cards while shopping, dining out, at fuel outlets, or for online spending and paying utility bills like mobile recharges, telephone bills, or electricity bills effortlessly and securely.

Here's How ICICI Bank RuPay Credit Card holders Can Link RuPay Credit Cards To UPI On iMobile Pay App

Step 1: Download & log in to the iMobile Pay app
Step 2: Select 'UPI transactions'
Step 3: Click on 'Manage'
Step 4: Select 'My Profile'
Step 5: Click on 'Link Your RuPay Credit Card to UPI'
Step 6: Enter the VPA ID of your choice and check its availability
Step 7: Click on 'Proceed'
Step 8: Select the RuPay Credit Card number to be linked
Step 9: Click on 'Confirm

What are the requirements for linking ICICI Bank RuPay Credit Card on the iMobile Pay app?

ICICI Bank RuPay Credit Card can be linked on the iMobile Pay app after one hour of RuPay Card creation. For a non-QR UPI transaction, online payment needs to be enabled in Card Controls.

QR UPI transactions can be initiated after linking RuPay Credit Card with UPI.

The lender has collaborated with the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) to enable UPI transactions on its RuPay Credit Cards. The customers can link the ICICI Bank Coral RuPay Credit Card, ICICI Bank HPCL Super Saver RuPay Credit Card, and ICICI Bank Rubyx RuPay Credit Card to UPI.

What is the transaction limit for the linked Credit Card on UPI?

There is no limit to the number of transactions from the Credit Card linked to UPI. However, the transaction amount limit for Credit Card linked with UPI is governed by the UPI transaction limits set by the National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) and the credit limit provided to you on your Credit Card (whichever is lower).
Note - UPI transaction amount limit per Card per day is Rs 5,000 within the first 24 hours of linking the Card with the UPI app.
