Haryana Chief Secretary Anurag Rastogi on Wednesday reviewed progress on the IMC Hisar Project. The review aimed to speed up decisions and keep work on schedule. Officials described the project as part of the Amritsar-Kolkata Industrial Corridor. The cluster is intended to support infrastructure growth and expand manufacturing activity around Hisar.

The Integrated Manufacturing Cluster, known as IMC Hisar, covers 1,605 acres. An official statement said a large section already has environmental clearance. Clearances for the remaining land are at an advanced stage. The cluster is expected to draw major manufacturing investment and support jobs for thousands of people.

The meeting included senior officials from several departments and project bodies. Participants included civil aviation, irrigation, and power utilities officials. The mix of departments signalled coordinated planning for utilities and permissions. Officials said this approach was meant to keep execution timely and reduce delays across connected works.
While chairing the review, Rastogi stressed coordinated action between departments. Rastogi also flagged the need to finish tasks within set timelines. Officials said the project is meant to raise Haryana’s industrial capacity. The plan also aims to attract investment and enable large-scale employment linked to new manufacturing units.
IMC Hisar project progress updates shared by civil aviation
Additional Chief Secretary, Civil Aviation Department, G Anupama, shared an update on the status. G Anupama said work is moving ahead across several tracks. Planning, infrastructure building, and regulatory clearances are progressing together. Officials indicated this parallel process is intended to keep momentum and support quicker rollout.
Authorities linked the IMC Hisar Project to wider economic activity in the region. Officials said the cluster is being positioned as a modern manufacturing base for Hisar. With permissions moving and departments coordinating, the project remains focused on planned execution. The official statement maintained that investment and jobs remain key expected outcomes.
