Income Tax Raids At Dainik Bhaskar Group

As per the ANI report which cites sources the Income tax department of the country is carrying out raids at media company Dainik Bhaskar's offices in Bhopal, Jaipur, Ahmedabad and some other locations.The search and seizure operation is in relation to tax evasion at various of the locations including residences of promoters as well as offices.

In a tweet, MP CM Digvijaya Singh said that tax officials "are present" at half-a-dozen premises of the group, including at its office at Press Complex in state capital Bhopal.

The official statement with regard to the raid on DB Group has not been released by the CBDT but officials have been reportedly confirming that raid process is currently underway.

The stock of DB Corp, the listed company of the group was trading down by over 3% at Rs. 105.3 per share on the BSE.
