Regarding one of the issues involving India imposing additional customs taxes on 28 US items, the WTO has already released a letter.

The official continued by saying that the WTO would also release the remaining five communications.

The dispute panel has been encouraged by the two parties to limit its report to a brief summary of the facts of the case and a statement that the parties have come to an agreement.

A complaint made against India by the US in 2019 was the subject of the trade dispute that was ultimately resolved.

In response to the United States' decision to increase duties on specific steel and aluminum products, India retaliated by imposing additional customs duties on 28 American goods, which included items like chickpeas, lentils, and apples.

India will remove further levies on eight US items, including chickpeas, lentils, and apples, in opposition to this resolution. These penalties were imposed in 2019 in reaction to America's plan to hike tariffs on specific steel and aluminium exports.

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's recent state visit to the United States, India and the US made a joint decision to resolve six ongoing disputes at the World Trade Organisation (WTO) and eliminate retaliatory tariffs on specific US products.
