Government's Commitment to Electric Mobility
The Union Cabinet has sanctioned two schemes: PM Electric Drive Revolution in Innovative Vehicle Enhancement (PM E-DRIVE) with a budget of Rs 10,900 crore over two years, and PM-eBus Sewa-Payment Security Mechanism (PSM) with an allocation of Rs 3,435 crore. Collaborative Efforts for a Greener Future
The automotive industry is prepared to work closely with the government to advance EV technology and infrastructure. "The automotive industry stands ready to continue working collaboratively with the government to ensure advancements in EV technology and infrastructure, aligning our efforts with the nation's ambitious goals for a cleaner, greener future," Chandra remarked.
