India Energy Week 2024: Goa to Host 2nd Edition from February 6-9
The 2nd edition of India Energy Week (IEW) will be held in Goa from February 6-9, 2024. Organized by FIPI under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, IEW 2024 aims to foster discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among industry experts, policymakers, academia, and entrepreneurs.
Panaji, December 22: Goa will host the second edition of the India Energy Week (IEW) from February 6 to 9, 2024, as announced by the event organizers on Friday. The IEW will be organized by the Federation of Indian Petroleum Industry (FIPI) under the aegis of the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas, Government of India.

IEW: A Platform for Meaningful Discussions and Collaboration
Gurmeet Singh, Director General of FIPI, highlighted that the IEW will serve as a catalyst for meaningful discussions, knowledge exchange, and collaboration among industry experts, policymakers, academia, and entrepreneurs. The event will showcase India's intricate energy landscape, characterized by a diverse energy mix, rapid growth in renewable energy, and challenges related to energy access, urbanization, and economic development, all within the context of addressing climate change.
IEW to Boost Tourism in Goa
Singh also mentioned that the IEW will provide a boost to visitors to Goa. The event is expected to draw over 35,000 attendees, 350-plus exhibitors, more than 400 speakers, and 4,000 delegates from over 100 countries.
Building on the Success of IEW 2023
Sanjeev Singhal, Executive Director & Head of the Institute of Petroleum Safety, Health, and Environment Management, emphasized that IEW 2024 builds on the success of the first edition of IEW, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Prime Minister underscored the immense possibilities in India's energy sector during the inaugural event.
The IEW 2024 promises to be a significant event that brings together key stakeholders from the energy sector to discuss and collaborate on critical issues. The event is expected to contribute to the advancement of India's energy landscape and promote sustainable development.
