India International Trade Fair 2023 Commences Thursday with Over 3,500 Exhibitors

The India International Trade Fair (IITF) is set to commence at Bharat Mandapam on Thursday, featuring over 3,500 exhibitors from India and abroad. This 14-day event is anticipated to draw around one lakh visitors daily. Organised by the India Trade Promotion Organisation (ITPO) under the commerce ministry, the fair serves as a significant platform to highlight the capabilities of Indian industry and showcase quality products.

IITF 2023 Starts Thursday at Bharat Mandapam

The theme for this year's fair is "Viksit Bharat @2047." Visitors can access route maps and navigation features through the Bharat Mandapam mobile app, which includes hall locations, detailed stall information, and directions within the venue. The fair will operate from 10:00 am to 7:30 pm, with entry gates located at Bhairon Road (Gates 3 and 5) and Mathura Road (Gates 6 and 10).

Key Participants and International Presence

Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are participating as Partner States, while Jharkhand will be the Focus State. The event will also see participation from 33 States/UTs, 49 Central Ministries, Commodity Boards, PSUs, PSBs, and various Government Departments. Notable companies like Titan, Jindal Steel and Power, JSW Steel, Relaxo, Hawkins, and Woodland will also be represented.

Eleven countries are joining the fair: China, Egypt, Iran, South Korea, Sweden, Thailand, Türkiye, Tunisia, Lebanon, Kyrgyzstan, and the UAE. This international participation highlights the global interest in India's trade capabilities.

Visitor Information and Ticketing

The Business days for IITF 2024 are scheduled from November 14th to 18th. General visitors can attend from November 19th to 27th. Entry tickets are available at 55 selected DMRC metro stations except for Supreme Court Metro Station. Tickets can also be purchased via the Bharat Mandapam Mobile App, DMRC App Momentum 2.0 Delhi Sarthi, Official ITPO Website www.indiatradefair.com, and DMRC website www.itpo.autope.in.

Senior citizens with valid age proof and Divyangjan are entitled to free entry. This initiative ensures accessibility for all segments of society.

The IITF will be held in newly constructed halls within the Bharat Mandapam Complex, covering an area of 1,07,000 square meters. This expansive venue provides ample space for exhibitors to display their products effectively.
