India-Pakistan Tension: There are multiple reports claiming that India has likely attacked Karachi port using its INS Vikrant, which had left its port in Karwar to sail in the Arabian Sea a few days after the Pahalgam attack. No official statement has been made by India over attacking Karachi port. However, the port's trust has called the news false and baseless.
What Has Happened?
Huge fire explosions were heard at the port, as the tensions India and Pakistan exchanged drones and missiles. Loud sirens blasted, sending warnings to civilians for precautionary measures.

According to a report of Daijiworld, the Indian Navy has launched a bold and destructive strike on Pakistan's Karachi port, marking the first such attack since the 1971 war. The operation, carried out by INS Vikrant and supported by multiple aircraft, has reportedly caused extensive damage to the strategic port. More than ten missiles were fired by INS Vikrant, including Tomahawk and BrahMos-class weapons, targeting key military and economic assets at the port. The strike is said to have destroyed large sections of the facility.
Karachi port is reportedly said to handle about 60% trade of Pakistan.
Did India Attack Karachi Port?
Through their X handler, Karachi Port Trust Officials said, "Reports circulating on India Media claiming that Karachi Port has been attacked by India and damages have been caused are completely false and baseless."
"Karachi Port is operating normally & securely. All port functions, activities & operations are taking as normal routine activity," they added.
Operation Sindoor:
After India carried Operation Sindoor on terrorist infrastructure in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Jammu & Kashmir, the latter attempted to engage a number of military targets in Northern and Western India including Awantipura, Srinagar, Jammu, Pathankot, Amritsar, Kapurthala, Jalandhar, Ludhiana, Adampur, Bhatinda, Chandigarh, Nal, Phalodi, Uttarlai, and Bhuj, using drones and missiles. These were neutralised by the Integrated Counter UAS Grid and Air Defence systems. The debris of these attacks is now being recovered from a number of locations that prove the Pakistani attacks.
As per the update by the Defence Ministry of India, Indian Armed Forces targeted Air Defence Radars and systems at a number of locations in Pakistan. Indian response has been in the same domain with same intensity as Pakistan. It has been reliably learnt that an Air Defence system at Lahore has been neutralised.
Pakistan has increased the intensity of its unprovoked firing across the Line of Control using Mortars and heavy calibre Artillery in areas in Kupwara, Baramulla, Uri, Poonch, Mendhar and Rajouri sectors in Jammu and Kashmir, the ministry said.
Indian Armed Forces reiterate their commitment to non-escalation, provided it is respected by the Pakistani military, the ministry said.
