Flight Operation across India Disrupted
Commercial flight operations across several North Indian cities have been significantly impacted post Operation Sindoor. Sixteen airports, including key hubs like Srinagar, Jammu, Leh, Amritsar, and Chandigarh, have been shut to civilian flights, leading to widespread cancellations and rerouting of both domestic and international flights. IndiGo has canceled approximately 160 domestic flights, while Air India has suspended operations to and from several affected cities until further notice. Passengers are advised to check with their respective airlines for the latest updates and alternative arrangements. The situation remains tense with authorities closely monitoring developments and issuing advisories as necessary.
Security Heightened, Further Announcements Expected
With the geopolitical situation still developing, officials in all three states have indicated that further advisories and restrictions may follow depending on how the conflict evolves. Parents and students are advised to remain updated through official channels regarding reopening schedules or exam rescheduling announcements.
