India Russia steel cooperation talks address supply chains, technology, and raw materials
India and Russia held a Ministry of Steel round table to deepen steel cooperation amid global supply chain pressures. Co-chaired by the Secretary, Ministry of Steel, and Mikhail IURIN, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation, talks covered raw material sourcing, technology collaboration, equipment manufacturing, and research opportunities, with both sides stressing sustained dialogue.
India and Russia held an India-Russia Round Table on Thursday to deepen steel sector ties. The Steel Ministry said the talks addressed pressure on global supply chains. A Russian delegation joined Indian officials and industry representatives for a detailed exchange. The agenda covered key cooperation areas in steel and connected industries.

The Steel Ministry said the meeting took place at the Ministry of Steel. The session was co-chaired by the Secretary, Ministry of Steel...and Mikhail IURIN, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. Officials said the format allowed direct dialogue between government and sector participants from both sides.
India-Russia steel sector meeting reviews bilateral cooperation
During the meeting, both sides discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation. Participants also reviewed existing engagement between the two countries. The ministry said the discussion aimed to map next steps for work in steel. Both sides looked at ways to keep cooperation steady during shifting global conditions.
