Prime Minister Narendra Modi and United Arab Emirates President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a bilateral meeting in Gandhinagar on Tuesday, resulting in the signing of several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs). The UAE President is the chief guest at the 10th edition of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS), which will be inaugurated by PM Modi on Wednesday at the Mahatma Mandir Convention Centre in Gandhinagar.

Multiple MoUs Signed, Reflecting Enduring Partnership

The signing of the MoUs between India and the UAE, witnessed by PM Modi and President Al Nahyan, underscores the enduring partnership and shared commitment between the two nations. The Gujarat Information Department shared the news on its official social media handle, highlighting the significance of this collaboration.

Warm Welcome and Roadshow in Ahmedabad

PM Modi personally received President Al Nahyan at the Ahmedabad airport, extending a warm welcome to the UAE leader. The two leaders then participated in a roadshow in the evening, reaffirming the strong bonds of friendship between India and the UAE.

Bilateral Meetings with Other Leaders

Prior to the meeting with President Al Nahyan, PM Modi held bilateral meetings with President Jose Ramos-Horta of Timor-Leste and President Filipe Jacinto Nyusi of Mozambique. He also met with CEOs of top global corporations at Mahatma Mandir.

Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show Inaugurated

Around 3 pm, the Prime Minister inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show, a global platform for business collaboration, knowledge sharing, and strategic partnerships aimed at inclusive growth and sustainable development. This year's summit features 34 partner countries and 16 partner organizations.

PM Modi's Scheduled Engagements

Following the inauguration of the summit on Wednesday, PM Modi will hold a meeting with CEOs of top global corporations. He will then proceed to GIFT City, where he will interact with prominent business leaders at the Global FinTech Leadership Forum at around 5.15 pm.

The bilateral meeting between PM Modi and UAE President Al Nahyan, along with the signing of MoUs and the participation of global leaders, underscores the importance of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit as a platform for fostering international collaboration and economic growth.
