India-UK Flights To Be Suspended Till Jan. 7: Aviation Minister Puri
Aviation minister Hardeep Singh Puri on Wednesday said India-UK flights will continue to be suspended till January 7 and thereafter will be resumed in a strictly regulated" manner. As the new Covid 19 strain was found in the UK, the Civil Aviation ministry last week cancelled all flights between the European nation and India from December 23 to December 31, 2020.
"Decision has been taken to extend the temporary suspension of flights to & from the U.K. till 7 January 2021." "Thereafter strictly regulated resumption will take place for which details will be announced shortly." he said in his tweet.
