Indore, March 7: The United States Ambassador to India, Eric Garcetti, expressed optimism about the trajectory of India-US trade, projecting that it will surpass the previous record of USD 200 billion this year. Addressing reporters in Indore, Garcetti highlighted the immense potential for expanding cooperation between the two nations in various sectors, including defense, space, and critical emerging technologies like semiconductors and artificial intelligence.

On the eve of International Women's Day, Ambassador Garcetti met with Indore Mayor Pushyamitra Bhargava to learn about the city's unique initiative of pink buses operated by female drivers for women commuters. He interacted with these women drivers, listening to their experiences and recognizing their inspiring role in promoting women's safety and empowerment.
