Indian currency markets are closed today on account of annual bank closing. The markets will further be shut on April 2, 2020 due to Ram Navami.

In the previous session, the domestic currency ended on a steady note at 75.60 per US dollar and quoted an intra-day high and low of 75.31 and 75.66 against the US dollar, respectively.

In the FY 2019-20, the Indian rupee lost a huge 9.36% or 646 paise mainly due to the sluggish sentiment across the globe on account of Covid 19 outbreak.
