Indian Markets Closed For Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti
The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) and the National Stock Exchange of India (NSE) will remain shut on April 14 on account of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Jayanti.
Other markets would also be shut, and there will be no trading activity in the forex and commodity futures markets as well.
Most Asian markets are trading higher led by the Japanese Nikkei, which is up more than 2 per cent. The Hong Kong's Hang Sang and the Shanghai Composite are also trading higher.
Investors await the release of Chinese trade data for March, expected to be out on Tuesday morning. Meanwhile, Dow Futures were also pointing to gains of nearly 1 per cent.
