Indian Railways Cancels 8 Pairs Of Trains Starting From May 7, 2021

On account of poor patronization, the Eastern Railways has decided to temporarily suspend 8 pair of trains starting May 7. In a tweet, the Railway wing regretted the inconvenience and asked passengers to plan their journey accordingly.

Amid acute shortage and as Covid 19 cases across the country continued to rise, Indian Railways suspended the operations of some 40 trains. North Western Railways said that the trains shall remain cancelled until further notice.

The South Central Railway (SCR) had also announced that it has cancelled at least 10 trains scheduled to run between April 28 and June 1. The cancellations will affect some services to Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Karnataka, and Maharashtra.
