IndianOil Launches Indane XTRALITE NOW: 10kg LPG Cylinder With 4-Hour Express Delivery; Here's How To Book

IndianOil Chairman A. S. Sahney launched Indane XTRALITE NOW, a new 10 kg composite LPG cylinder which comes paired with express home delivery, at an event in Chennai on July 25th.

Alongside the new cylinder, IndianOil also announced a four-hour express home delivery service to its already popular 5 kg Chhotu cylinder.

What is Indane XTRALITE NOW?

Indane XTRALITE NOW is built from lightweight, rust-free composite material and has a translucent body that helps customers to see and monitor how much LPG is left in it.

The new gas cylinder will be delivered within four hours of booking, a preferred-time delivery slot option, and minimal documentation requirements for new connections.

IndianOil said a WhatsApp booking facility, on the number 7588888824, will be introduced shortly, adding to the existing IndianOil ONE App and the IndianOil Customer website as booking channels.

Indane XTRALITE NOW Roll Out Timeline

Both the new composite cylinder and the express-delivery Chhotu service will be available through IndianOil's existing Indane distributor network and select IndianOil Retail Outlets.

With this launch, IndianOil is positioning itself to tap urban households, working professionals, residential communities, and small families who are looking for lighter, easier-to-handle cylinders alongside faster service, a segment the company has been building out through its Chhotu FTL cylinder and composite cylinder ranges over the past few years.

How To Book Indane XTRALITE NOW

Indane XTRALITE NOW, a 10 kg composite LPG cylinder paired with four-hour express home delivery, can currently be booked through two official digital channels: the IndianOil ONE mobile app and the IndianOil Customer website at cx.indianoil.in. A WhatsApp booking option is also expected to be added shortly by the company, however it isn't live yet.

To book via the IndianOil ONE app, customers need to download it from the Google Play Store or Apple App Store, then log in or register using their registered mobile number.

Existing Indane LPG customers can view their consumer account within the app and select the option to book a refill or, in this case, opt to switch their existing steel cylinder connection to the new XTRALITE composite cylinder without needing to cancel their current connection.

New customers, meanwhile, can register a new connection directly within the app with what IndianOil has described as minimal documentation requirements, choose Indane XTRALITE NOW as their preferred cylinder type, pick a preferred delivery time slot, and confirm the order for delivery within four hours of booking.

The same process is available through the IndianOil Customer website, where customers log in with their consumer ID and registered mobile number, navigate to the LPG booking section, select the XTRALITE NOW cylinder option, confirm their delivery address and preferred time, and submit the booking.
