Infosys ADR Crashed 7% After Q4 Results: How Narayana Murthy's Infosys Perform In March Quarter? Full Report

Billionaire Narayana Murthy's Infosys witnessed sharp selling pressure after its Q4 results for FY26 and FY27 guidance. The American Depositary Receipts (ADR) that are listed on NYSE, nosedived over 7% before ending around $12.9 per piece. Although, Infosys majority of earning verticals were in-line with estimates, the FY27 guidance was a miss on the lower ends of some forecasts. Broadly, investors are cautious in tech stocks both in India and globally, which further played a role in the sell-offs of Infosys ADR.

Infosys ADR:

After the closing bell on April 23, Infosys ADR ended at $12.94 per piece, down by 4.01%. During the trading session, Infosys nosedived by over 7% to hit an intraday low of $12.53 per piece.

It wasn't just Infosys, other Indian listed ADRs on NYSE witnessed deep bearish tone. On April 23, Wipro ADR also plunged by 4%, followed by HDFC Bank ADR which declined by 2.3% and ICICI Bank ADR that tumbled by 1.3%.

Infosys Q4 Results Full Report:

During Q4FY26, Infosys reported a consolidated net profit of Rs 8,501 crore, registering a growth of 27.8% from PAT of Rs 6,654 crore the third quarter of FY26. The latest income also surged by 20.9% from PAT of Rs 7,033 crore in Q4FY25.

Meanwhile, revenue climbed by 2% QoQ to Rs 46,402 crore in Q4FY26 versus Rs 45,479 crore in Q3FY26. Q4FY26 revenue witnessed a growth of 13.4% from Rs 40,925 crore in Q4FY25.

Also, Q4 revenues were $5,040 million, growth of 4.1% year on year in constant currency. Q4 operating margin was at 20.9%.

For the full year, Infosys said that it delivered $20,158 million in FY '26 revenues with a growth of 3.1% in constant currency. Reported IFRS operating margin was at 20.3% and adjusted operating margin at 21.0%. EPS growth was 11.0% in rupee terms. Free cash flow generation was robust at $3,733 million. TCV of large deal wins was $14.9 billion, with net new of 55%.

Talking about the performance, Salil Parekh, CEO and MD said, "We delivered a resilient performance in FY 26 with growth of 3.1% with strong large deal wins of $14.9 billion, reflecting the robustness of our enterprise AI value proposition and market share gains in large transformation opportunities. The simplicity and strength of our AI services strategy across six areas is gaining traction in the market further strengthened by strong ecosystem AI partnerships enabling clients to get value from AI."

He added, "Our AI First value framework and differentiated Topaz Fabric, position us uniquely to deepen client trust and gain greater share of the market."

Infosys FY27 Guidance:

For the FY27 guidance, Infosys expects revenue growth to range from 1.5% to 3.5% in the constant currency. While operating margin is seen at 20-25%.
