Infosys Q1 Results: Cons PAT Rises 12% YoY To Rs 7,769 Crore, But Cuts FY27 CC Revenue Growth Guidance

India's second largest tech player, Infosys, reported 12.3% year-on-year growth in consolidated net profit to Rs 7,769 crore in Q1 of FY27. On the top-line front, revenue climbed by 14% YoY to Rs 48,211 crore in the quarter under review. In constant currency, Infosys reported 1% QoQ and 2.4% YoY revenue growth. In another major development, Infosys has appointed Ashiss Kumar Dash as the new CEO, replacing Salil Parekh.

During Q1FY27, Infosys posted consolidated net profit of Rs 7,769 crore, registering a growth of 12.2% from net profit of Rs 6,921 crore in Q1FY26. But Q1 PAT declined by 8.6% QoQ from Rs 8,501 crore in Q4FY26.

But the consolidated revenue stood at Rs 48,211 crore, recording 14% YoY and 3.9% QoQ growth compared to revenues of Rs 42,279 crore in Q1FY26 and Rs 46,402 crore in Q4FY26.

EBITDA stood at Rs 10,163 crore in Q1FY27, up by 15.4% YoY and 4.3% QoQ. While EBITDA margins are at 21.1%, expanding mildly from 20.8% in Q1FY26 and 21% in Q4FY26.

Apart from this, Infosys delivered $5,082 million in Q1 revenues, year-on-year growth of 2.4% and sequential growth of 1.0% in constant currency. EPS growth was 14.9% year on year in rupee terms.

While TCV of large deal wins was at $3.6 billion, with 61% net new.

This will be the last financial year of Parekh as CEO of Infosys as he will exit with effect from April 1, 2027.

For FY27 guidance, Infosys has cut its upper-end constant currency revenue growth guidance to 3% from the earlier 3.5%, while keeping the lower-end guidance unchanged at 1.5%. Also, EBITDA margin guidance for FY27 has been retained at 20-22%.

Infosys share price closed at Rs 1051.80 apiece on BSE, broadly flat with a market cap at Rs 4,26,776.14 crore on Thursday. The share price will react to Q1 results on July 24th.
