Infosys Shareholders Alert: Shares To Trade Ex-Dividend Today; Plummet Almost 2%

Infosys shares slumped 1.91% at Rs 1382.10 per share at 11:07 am IST on Wednesday. Infosys shares grabbed the spotlight today as the stock is trading ex-dividend today. The IT giant had announced an interim dividend of Rs 18 per equity share for the financial year 2023-24. The record date for the said dividend is also today i..e October 25. The 52 Wk High and 52 Wk Low of the stock is Rs 1,672.45 and Rs 1,215.45 respectively.

In the last one year and in this year so far, the share price of Infosys Ltd has fallen almost 9%.

All eligible shareholders of Infosys with their names on the list at the end of Wednesday would be entitled to receive dividends. The Bengaluru-based company is expected to make a dividend payment on November 6, 2023. In the last 23 years, Infosys has declared 49 dividends.

Infosys salary hike plan:

It is worth mentioning that Infosys will be giving salary hikes to its employees starting next week. The company is expected to roll out the salary hike plan on November 1. In its quarterly results announced this month, the company reported a significant dip in employee headcount when compared to the year-ago quarter. The IT Major reported a net fall of 7,530 employees in its headcount sequentially.

As of September 2023, Infosys had 3,28,764 employees, compared to 3,36,294 employees in the previous quarter.
