IPL 2025: The seventh match of the IPL season is going to be held between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) on March 27, 2025. The two teams will compete at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. The booking window showed that the ticket prices are starting from Rs 12,500, while there is offer of one free jersey on two tickets. However, the city of Hyderabad is expected to record a warm weather, and the chances of rainfall is minimal during the match.
Sunrisers Hyderabad:
This IPL season, Sunrisers have made a slight change into its team formats. It has picked Wiaan Mulder as a replacement for Brydon Carse. Carse had to exit the IPL due to his injury, while Mulder who is an all-rounder joins at Rs 75 lakh. Mulder has played 11 T20Is in addition to 18 Tests and 25 ODIs, while he has picked 60 wickets in international cricket and has scored 970 international runs.

So far, Sunrisers have not won any IPL trophy since its inception in 2016. In 2025 season, Sunrisers won by 44 runs on March 23, against Rajasthan Royals, taking the Hyderabad team at the first position.
The captain is Pat Cummins, while the team is coached by Daniel Vettori. Sun TV Network is the owner of the team.
Batters are Ishan Kishan, Atharva Taide, Abhinav Manohar, Aniket Verma, Sachin Baby, Heinrich Klaasen and Travis Head. All-rounders are Harshal Patel, Kamindu Mendis, Wiaan Mulder, Abhishek Sharma, and Nitish Kumar Reddy. Bowlers are Pat Cummins, Mohammad Shami, Rahul Chahar, Adam Zampa, Simarjeet Singh, Zeeshan Ansari, Jaydev Unadkat, and Eshan Malinga.
Lucknow Super Giants:
LSG has also not won any IPL trophy. This season, LSG picked Shardul Thakur as a replacement for left-arm fast bowler Mohsin Khan, who has been ruled out due to an injury. Thakur, an experienced all-rounder, has been signed from the Registered Available Player Pool (RAPP) at his reserve price of INR 2 crore. A proven performer across all three formats for India, he brings valuable IPL experience, having played 95 matches for five franchises.
Lucknow Super Giants will be led by Rishabh Pant as the captain, and also the highest-bought IPL player of 2025. The team's coach is Justin Langer.
Batters are Rishabh Pant, David Millar, Aiden Markram, Aryan Juyal, Himmat Singh, Mathew Breetzke, and Nicholas Pooran. All-rounders of the teams are Mitchell Marsh, Abdul Samad, Shahbaz Ahamad, Yuvraj Chaudhary, Rajvardhan Hangargekar, Arshin Kulkarni, Ayush Badoni, and Shardul Thakur. At the same time, bowlers are Avesh Khan, Akash Deep, M Siddharth, Digvesh Singh, Akash Singh, Shamar Joseph, Prince Yadav, Mayank Yadav, and Ravi Bishnoi.
SRH Vs LSG Prediction:
As per Cricktracker, Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) will look to double their points tally when they take on a deflated Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) side.
Additionally, ESPN Cricinfo believes SRH are not going to change their approach, especially at home. Against Rajasthan Royals, Travis Head and Abhishek Sharma gave them a flying start, which was followed by Ishan Kishan's unbeaten 106 off 47. Each of their top six had a strike rate of 200 or more as they finished one short of their own record of the highest IPL total. While SRH will aim to improve with the ball, it's far from a concern at the moment.

Also, the entry gates will open approximately 3 (three) hours before the start of the Match or such other time as may be advised/published in respect of the Match by the BCCI.
Users can purchase a maximum of 4 tickets on the District app/web. If you cannot collect the tickets yourself, share an authority letter with your ID proof with the person collecting the tickets on your behalf. Tickets cannot be cancelled/refunded. Tickets will only be refunded in case if the match is abandoned without a ball being bowled.
Hyderabad Weather Update:
As per IMD, the weather in Hyderabad is partly cloudy sky with Haze. Its minimum temperature could be 24 degrees Celsius, while the maximum could stretch to 37 degrees. The chances of rainfall in the next 24 hours are low to zero probability.
Also, as per AccuWeather, the wind would be SSW 15 km/h, with gusts at 32 km/h. Visibility is till 5km, while cloud ceiling is up to 9,100 m. However, the air quality is poor at 77 AQI for the city.
