IPO Calendar Next Week: Jio Platforms Listing, 5 Mainboard IPOs Worth Rs 2,636 Crore to Open

If you follow the primary market, next week will keep you busy. The biggest IPO in India's history is heading for its stock market debut, and five new mainboard issues are lined up to open right behind it.

IPO Calendar Next Week

Jio Platforms IPO: allotment on Monday, listing on Wednesday

The Jio Platforms IPO closed on October 23 after raising about Rs. 30,213 crore at the top of its Rs. 1,065 to Rs. 1,119 price band. The response was heavy. The issue was subscribed 22.19 times overall. Institutional investors bid 70.55 times the shares kept for them, non-institutional investors 14 times, and retail investors 2.72 times.

That retail number matters if you applied. When an issue is subscribed 2.72 times in your category, more people asked for shares than were on offer, so not every application will get an allotment. The basis of allotment is expected on Monday, October 26. Refunds and the credit of shares to demat accounts should follow on October 27, and the shares are tentatively set to list on the BSE and NSE on Wednesday, October 28.
You can check your Jio Platforms IPO allotment status on the registrar's website or through your broker's app once allotment is final. The issue is entirely fresh shares, and the company plans to use up to Rs. 27,500 crore to repay borrowings at its telecom subsidiary, Reliance Jio Infocomm. Reliance Industries holds a 66.4% stake in Jio Platforms.

Before the issue opened, the grey market premium, or GMP, was reported at around Rs. 265 to Rs. 275 a share, which hinted at listing gains of 23% to 25%. Treat that as a mood indicator, not a promise. GMP is unofficial, it moves daily, and the actual listing price can land well above or below it.

Five mainboard IPOs opening next week

The mainboard line-up starts on Monday, October 26, with EAAA India Alternatives. It is a Rs. 1,200 crore issue priced at Rs. 1,585 to Rs. 1,665 a share, open until October 28. The whole issue is an offer for sale of 72.07 lakh shares by promoter Edelweiss Securities and Investments, so the company itself will not receive the money. EAAA runs an alternative investment platform focused on real assets and private credit. One lot is nine shares.

On Tuesday, October 27, two IPOs opened together. SFC Environmental Technologies, a wastewater treatment solutions company, is raising Rs. 668 crore at Rs. 313 to Rs. 330 a share. It combines a fresh issue worth Rs. 50 crore with an offer for sale of up to 1.57 crore shares, and the fresh money will go towards clearing debt and working capital. The issue closes on October 29. BLS Polymers is a smaller Rs. 255 crore issue, priced at Rs. 142 to Rs. 150 a share, with a lot size of 100 shares. It is entirely fresh shares, meant for expanding its Goa plant and working capital. The company makes polymer compounds used in cables, wires and underground pipelines. Allotment is expected on October 30 and listing on November 3.

On Wednesday, October 28, MK Sons Fine Jewels opened a Rs. 330.48 crore issue that closes on October 30. It includes Rs. 275.40 crore of fresh shares and a Rs. 55.08 crore offer for sale by promoter Ramchand Murlidhar Raimalani. The jeweller sells gold, diamond and CZ jewellery, and plans to use the money for inventory at a new Maharashtra showroom, expanding a Gujarat showroom, and repaying debt. The lot size is 91 shares.

The last of the five is Bombay Coated and Special Steels, which opens on Thursday, October 29, and runs until November 2. It is a Rs. 183.1 crore fresh issue priced at Rs. 78 to Rs. 82 a share, with a lot of 182 shares. Of the fresh money, Rs. 125 crore is earmarked for clearing debt, so check how that sits with your own comfort level.

SME IPOs and other listings

The SME segment is also active. Wiscon Industries opens on October 27 at Rs. 194 to Rs. 204, and Carver Roboweld opens on October 28. Ajwa Projects and Antala Industries are also on the calendar. SME lot sizes are large. Wiscon's lot of 1,200 shares needs roughly Rs. 2.45 lakh at the upper band, which is far above a typical mainboard retail application.

Apart from Jio, Paras Healthcare is listing on October 28, and Core4 Engineers is expected on October 30.
