IRB Infra Stocks Surge 4% Following Strong Q4 Performance With Rs 189 Crore Net Profit

Shares of IRB Infrastructure Developers Ltd. witnessed a significant surge of 4% during the early trading session on Wednesday. This surge came on the heels of the company's robust financial performance in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2023-24, wherein it reported a noteworthy 45% year-on-year jump in net profit, totaling Rs 188.9 crore. On the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), IRB Infra shares climbed by 3.23% to reach Rs 68.15, while on the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the stock experienced a rise of 2.80%, reaching Rs 67.95. Notably, the company's net profit remained steady sequentially, maintaining parity with the October-December quarter's figure of Rs 187 crore.

Mhaiskar further highlighted how FY24 solidified IRB Infra's leadership position in the sector. The company stands as the largest transport infrastructure developer in India's highway sector, boasting the largest project portfolio, operational lane kilometres, and robust toll revenue growth.
