IREDA Q2 Result: Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Limited (IREDA) on Tuesday reported a 122% sequential surge in consolidated net profit after tax to Rs 549 crore during the quarter ending September 30, 2025. The Navratna PSU had reported Rs 246.88 crore consolidated net profit in the June quarter.
The company had also reported a sharp surge in its total income to Rs 614.76 during the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26. IREDA share price surged 0.56% to Rs 151 per share on BSE with a market capitalisation of Rs 42,433.44 crore at 10:40 am.

IREDA reported a 122% sequential surge in its net profit and a 42% year-on-year surge in its standalone net profit during the second quarter of the financial year 2025-26.
The company's net standalone profit increased by 42% to Rs 549 crore during the September quarter against Rs 387.7 crore reported in the year-ago period.
The Navratna PSU is a non-banking financial company (NBFC) announced on Tuesday that its standalone profit for the second quarter of FY26 stood at Rs 549 crore, against Rs 387.75 crore in Q2FY25.
Its standalone revenue from operations surged by 26.2% YoY to Rs 2,056.88 crore during the quarter under review. The company's revenue stood at Rs 1,629.55 crore in the same quarter of FY25.
The company's total expenses during Q2FY26 stood at Rs 1,361.38 crore up from Rs 1,170.47 crore in Q2FY25. Whereas, operating profit surged by 54% You to Rs 776 crore. IREDA's gross NPA increased to Rs 3,353 crore and net NPA surged to Rs 1,627 crore from Rs 666 crore YoY.
The Navratna PSU announced a 35.6% decline in its consolidated net profit to Rs 246.88 crore in the June quarter from Rs 383.7 crore reported in the year-ago period. The renewable energy firm had reported a net consolidated profit of Rs 501.79 crore in the March quarter of financial year 2024-25.
During the June quarter, IREDA's gross NPA declined significantly to 4.13% from 2.45% reported in the previous quarter. The company's revenue growth for the first quarter increased by 28.89% to Rs 1,947 crore. The company, in June, had already disclosed its business momentum update for previous quarter.

IREDA shares price had touched a 52-week high mark of Rs 234.35 per share on BSE on 3 January, 2025. The stock had dipped to its 52-week low mark of Rs 137 per share on 17 March, 2025. The stock has a return on equity (RoE) of 16.73 %. Its share price value has surged nearly 4.68% in one month and has declined around 30.46% since the beginning of the year 2025 (YTD).
