ISRO’s Upcoming Projects May Boost MTAR's Business Growth, says MD Srinivas Reddy
On August 23, India made history when it became the first nation to send a rover close to the Moon's South Pole. Hyderabad-based MTAR Technologies also had a significant impact by delivering crucial components for the Chandrayaan-3 project.
Crucial parts like Vikas engines, cryogenic engines, and several sub-systems were provided by MTAR Technologies. MTAR, a prominent private participant in the precision engineering sector, has been providing equipment to a number of government initiatives, including the defense, civilian nuclear power, and space programmes in India.

According to Srinivas Reddy, Managing Director of MTAR Technologies, previously, ISRO supervised the acquisition of several systems from various commercial firms. However, the Centre's focus has shifted to ISRO, with a particular emphasis on research and development activities.
Among the upcoming missions, the ISRO Chairman earlier mentioned the Gaganyaan programme, a massive endeavor geared for human spaceflight that will involve Indian astronauts in orbital missions. ISRO's planned projects, including Gaganyaan, Aditya L-1, and NISAR, might improve MTAR Technologies' revenue and provide a platform for diversification and expansion.
