JBM Group and Keppel Ltd Collaborate on Sustainable Solutions for Electric Mobility and Energy Storage
JBM Group has announced a strategic alliance with Singapore's Keppel Ltd. This collaboration aims to create sustainable solutions in electric mobility, EV charging, renewables, and battery energy storage systems. The partnership seeks to innovate urban infrastructure decarbonisation and provide tailored solutions for the increasing demand in electro-mobility and e-waste management.

Focus on Sustainable Solutions
Keppel, known for its global asset management and sustainability expertise, will contribute its advanced capabilities in integrated clean energy, EV charging, and resource circularity solutions. JBM Group plans to utilise its knowledge in EVs, EV aggregates, and key automotive systems to develop projects with Keppel. These projects will focus on electro-mobility, battery energy storage systems (BESS), and e-waste solutions.
The companies will also explore feasibility studies for developing EV charging networks, electromobility hubs, and resource recovery facilities. This initiative aims to electrify transport infrastructure comprehensively. JBM Group Vice Chairman Nishant Arya remarked that the partnership combines JBM's expertise in e-mobility and renewables with Keppel's innovative infrastructure solutions.
Addressing India's Growing Electricity Demand
Cindy Lim, CEO of Keppel's Infrastructure Division, highlighted India's rising electricity demand due to economic growth, urbanisation, and electrification. She stated that by partnering with leaders like JBM Group, Keppel is well-positioned to contribute significantly to India's sustainable development efforts.
